This small wooden spinning wheel is most likely an apprentice piece or a salesman sample. It most likely dates from the Victorian era.
It has a small piece of damage - seen in the close up shot of the leg. It has been repaired reasonable well. It may also be missing one small piece - which accounts for the small hole that can be seen on the top.
The foot tread mechanism is still working.
